In January 2024 I started the amazing English lessons with Amy. She is truly a passionate teacher. With her different teaching methods and her helpful feedback, she's making it easy to learn. When I decided to take IELTS I was completely lost and Amy saved me from that situation. We started working together when I didn't even know the format of the exam. By the time I took the exam, I felt completely confident. She is always a very cheerful and patient instructor. I have always had a hard time in the writing part, it seemed very complicated to create fancy, complex sentences, but Amy and I overcame this and as a result of our work together, I got the band score I wanted from IELTS, 6.5. I want to tell you that when I started my English classes, I was a little scared because I had chosen a British teacher. What I had heard is that it is the best English but the most difficult to understand. I started to look for one to one English lessons two months ago in order to improve my English, especially in fluently and spontaneously talking. I also needed to improve my grammar. I wanted to talk with someone who is like one of my friends from another country. Amy, she makes me feel like I’m talking with a friend. She is very kind and funny, she is also really careful, even if I say something very fast. She immediately catches the wrong word or grammar and she not only gives the correct answer, but also makes me understand why it is wrong or where the mistake is and so on.

Amy is a lovely person and professional. She first understood my needs and my expectations very well and she took it from there. All classes are very aligned to what I was expecting and I learn a lot in every single class. She presents topics that she knows you might feel interested in, she is also the kind of teacher who is very focused on details and she reinforces the areas she notices you can improve! I've been studying with Amy to improve my speaking skills. As a result, I can undoubtedly say that not only am I able to speak more confidently, but I've also improved my pronunciation as well as my intonation.
