New General English Group Classes!

🥳 MY ONLINE GROUP CLASSES ARE BACK! 🥳

I am thrilled to reintroduce my online English group classes! I really enjoyed these last year and a few of you have been asking about them so I thought I would bring them back for 2024! 🤩

In a world where effective communication is key, my General English Groups are designed to not only enhance your language skills but also create an engaging and supportive community of learners. Whether you're a beginner seeking a solid foundation or an advanced learner aiming for fluency, my classes are tailored to meet your unique needs and aspirations.

to get started

To optimise your English learning journey in these group classes, I need to check your level! Recognising and allocating students based on their English levels allows me to tailor the curriculum to address the specific needs and challenges of each group. In order for me to check your English level, click here to book a free 15 minute video call. This also helps me understand your needs, availability and answer any questions you may have.

General English Group In Action

👥 This was a B2/Upper Intermediate General English Group.
❤️ I absolutely loved watching their confidence grow as they shared their opinions on everyday topics!
🗣 This was a student-centred lesson where I gave them a bit of target vocabulary to use for debating followed by various topics to discuss while I kept quiet and took notes on errors to later correct.

What my General English Group students say

Camila, Brazil, B2/Upper Intermediate Group

“Amy is a super teacher. She is kind and patient. I think it's amazing that we're so many miles apart, but I feel so close. Studying English with Amy makes me feel more confident.”

Why group classes?

  1. Cost-effectiveness: My group classes are more affordable than private lessons.

  2. Social interaction: Group classes provide opportunities for social interaction, allowing learners to practice their speaking and listening skills in a supportive environment.

  3. Diversity of perspectives: In a group setting, you are likely to interact with students from various backgrounds, cultures, and proficiency levels. This diversity exposes learners to different accents, expressions, and communication styles, offering a more comprehensive language experience.

  4. Teamwork and collaboration: Group activities and projects promote teamwork and collaboration, allowing learners to practice language skills in real-life situations. This can be particularly beneficial for developing communication skills and building confidence in using English in various contexts.

  5. Immediate feedback: In a group setting, learners can receive immediate feedback from me and their peers. This instant feedback helps identify areas for improvement and reinforces correct language usage.
